Multi-axial (warp knitting) fabric is a new and advanced fabric. It is formed by stitch knitting yarns in warp direction (0°), across warp (90°) and oblique direction (±θ) with warp knitting fabrics (such as chaining or plain fabrics) along the thickness direction. One or more layers of tows in the fabric can be kept at non-crimp, parallel and straight state. Therefore, multi-axial fabric is also called “non-crimp fabric”. Common roving spreading directions include 0 º (uniaxial), 0 º/90º or ±45º (biaxial), 0 º/+45 º/-45 º (triaxial), 0 º/90 º/+45 º/-45 º (quadaxial), etc.
